DAY 1 - DALLAS |

DAY 2 - DALLAS / RANCH / DALLAS
 |
Breakfast. Discover
Dallas, a huge forest of glass and metal. Looking up, the sheer height and
magnitude of the skyscrapers will have a dizzying effect
the sky is
falling! Experience an emotional visit of the Sixth Floor Museum,
where the shots that killed President J.F. Kennedy originated on that fateful
day. You will then be transferred to a ranch where, upon being welcomed,
the western aura encompasses you. A lasso-throwing spectacle and a BBQ lunch
add to this atmosphere. The afternoon takes you to Fort Worth. The
Historic Stockyard District has preserved the ambience of the 19th
Century. Its architecture will remind you that Fort Worth was once the frontier
of the Far West. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 3 - DALLAS / SAN ANTONIO
 |
| Breakfast. Continue
towards the beautiful city of San Antonio for lunch. In the afternoon marvel
in the old Mexican quarters of this romantic city. Visit Fort Alamo, the
birthplace of the Texan Republic. Enjoy some free time to explore the wonders
and charm of this city. Dinner and lodging. |

DAY 4 - SAN ANTONIO / HOUSTON
 |
| Breakfast. Today, your
travels take you to Houston, the largest city in the state. Surprisingly,
this metropolis did not exist as recently as two hundred years ago. Lunch.
This afternoon holds a visit to the Lyndon Johnson Space Center. The Apollo
13 movie has made this space communication center famous. Dinner and lodging. |

DAY 5 - HOUSTON / LAFAYETTE
 |
Breakfast. Take the
famous Interstate 10 on the route to Louisiana. Stop for a visit of the
St-Martin-des-Tours Church. Following lunch, experience the magnificent
gardens of Avery Island. This exotic site presents a tropical paradise with
a number of varieties of plants and birds. Continue on to Lafayette, founded
by the Acadians in 1828. Discover the city: the cathedral, the Old Oak,
and the cemetery. After a typical Cajun dinner, enjoy some old-time hospitality
with a Cajun family home-stay.

DAY 6 - LAFAYETTE / NATCHEZ
 |
Breakfast. This day
takes us to Natchez. Lunch is followed by a guided city tour of this historic
city that escaped destruction during the American Civil War. Time seems
to have stood still in certain streets that have preserved the charm of
centuries past. Close your eyes and picture Scarlett O'Hara in the arms
of Rhett
Visit the Longwood Plantation, an eight-sided construction
built in 1861. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 7 - NATCHEZ / BATON ROUGE
 |
|
Breakfast, and take the route towards Baton Rouge, Louisiana's capital.
The visit of the Louisiana State Capital building gives you a superb view
of the Mississippi, the longest river in America. Lunch is followed by
a visit to the Rural Life Museum. Here many items will hold your attention:
the barn containing ploughing implemeuts from prehistoric times to the
start of the 20th century, a working plantation composed of many buildings
that explain the different activities needed to run a plantation in the
19th century, and the most popular architecture of the different cultures
of the first settlers in Louisiana. Dinner and lodging.

DAY 8 - BATON ROUTE / NEW ORLEANS
 |
| Breakfast. Visit the
Nottaway Plantation and Houma's House. Lunch will be experienced in a "Cabin",
an old house belonging to slaves. The afternoon holds a cruise on the Bayou,
a wooded marsh where the Cajuns would hide to escape the English. Dinner
and lodging. |

DAY 9 - NEW ORLEANS
 |
| Breakfast. A guided
visit of New Orleans: the French Quarter also called the Old Quarter, St-Louis
Cathedral (the oldest in America), Jackson Square, and the St-Louis cemetery.
Lunch. The afternoon is yours to uncover some of the secrets of this culture-filled
city and then board a paddleboat for a dinner-and-jazz cruise along the
Mississippi. Surrender to the experience of the music and dancing offered
aboard. Return to the hotel and enjoy pleasant dreams of jazz and dancing

DAY 10 - NEW ORLEANSS

| Breakfast. Free time for some last
minute shopping according to flight schedules. Transfer to the airport for
your return flight. |
