As stipulated by the Quebec law on receptive tour operators, all sums of money must be transferred to an "in trust" account. The money in these accounts may only be used to pay all services included in the program of a given group. This provision remains in effect until the completion of the voyage.

Any receptive tour operator who violates this clause is susceptible to a large fine under this law.
